MORE TRADING CARDS

Thank You Ladies

As I stated in an earlier post I have been involved in a trading card swap. It is a doodling/zentangles swap and in black and white.

Here are some more of the cards I received from around the world.

Some of the ladies decorated their envelopes as well, and some sent extra little treats inside like lovely cards to protect the trading cards.

It has been a fun swap and I can't wait to get the rest of them to show you.

HAPPY DOODLING

  1. Very fun to see these! I've just mailed in my first set of cards for swapping and am working on my second set. I'm enjoying this so much, and it's such a great inspiration to do art more often.

  2. Hi Judy,

I'm pretty new at this Zentangling. I've done some challenges but this is the first that I'm seeing your blog. Can you please let me know more about this card swapping and how it works? It sounds really interesting!

    Thanks.

  3. Hi Joanne, I am involved in a number of Zentangle and Doodling groups on Facebook.

One of the ladies in one of these groups started a separate group called 'Zentangle Artist Trading Card Swap' They invited me to join and that is how I became involved. Her name is Cathy Wilson from Moodus Connecticut. http://www.facebook.com/groups/123904037786011/

There is a second group on facebook called Happy Hands:Drawn,Painted,Tangled, ATC & Rolodex headed by Wendy Kelly from San Mateo, California.

Both of these groups are by invitation and are closed whatever that means. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to facebook. If you tried to contact these ladies on facebook they could possibly help you out.

I have also been considering some sort of Trading Card Swap page on my blog but have not worked out the details as yet. I will post details once I have worked out how I want to proceed.

Good Luck Joanne. I hope this is helpful.
    Judy.

  4. Hi Judy,

Thank you so much for your information. I will try to check out the Facebook links you gave and see what happens from there.

I would definitely like to know about the trading card swap if you get it going. Do let me know. Thanks again.

  5. hi Judy,
I'd be really interested in ATC swap too. I'm in Australia as well (SA) and as I haven't had a chance to have any lessons it would be interesting to see other people's art work and be inspired.
