Intricate Patterns

Intricate Patterns
Challenge

I spent Thursday night and most of Friday in emergency waiting for the Doctors to decide what was wrong with my husband and whether they would admit him or not.

As you can imagine this was a very stressful time. Also I did not get any sleep for 24 hours or food for about 12 hours. They eventually admitted him, and he got out yesterday.

Doodling saved my sanity once again. I had my trusty sketchbook and pens with me so gave myself a challenge. I drew some wavy lines across the page and decided to design  intricate patterns between each line.

The patterns below are the ones I did.

I have done a few more since then. They are fun to create.

1. I begin with wavy lines.

2. I then draw some basic lines in each space to begin the pattern.

3. I decorated each line with a doodle pattern I made up myself.

My challenge to you is to do the same, but make up your own patterns. You can copy the step two outlines if you wish or make up your own.

Please post what you design in the Mr Linky below. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Also please give me some feed back on this challenge in the comments section below. Is it too hard, or would you like some more difficult challenges etc. As there are many people offering challenges now, what would you like to see that is not already being done?

  1. Hi Judy, Hope your husband is well again. This is a great Doodle, I will try and do one. I did a very silly thing lost my file with every tangle pattern etc I have collected, so I must start again. I hope it is hiding some where on my PC. Hold thumbs.
